The famous 2000s show on Nickelodeon will be re-produced with its original cast!
iCarly, the iconic show that aired on the Nickelodeon children's television network from 2007 to 2012, told the life of a teenage girl named Carly, played by actress Miranda Cosgrove.
The main character was doing a web series with her friends Freddie (Nahan Kress) and Sam, characterized by Jennette McCurdy. Now, TVLine has announced that Paramount + is planning an iCarly revival with the original stars.
This means that Cosgrove, now 27, will be at the helm. The new series is being developed by Jay Kogen and Ali Schouten.
We remember that iCarly ended in 2012 when the protagonist traveled to Italy with her father, while Sam led Sam & Cat, the short-lived series that brought together Sam from iCarly and Victorious' Cat, played by Ariana Grande.
Miranda made her television debut on School of Rock in 2003 and later gained recognition for her iconic role on Drake & Josh. In 2007 she came to star in a series with iCarly, which made her a star thanks to its 5 seasons.
