The musician is apparently seen getting into a brawl outside a club in a video released by TMZ.
Zayn Malik has gotten into an altercation in New York City.
On Friday, TMZ released a video in which the singer appears to be getting into a brawl outside a Manhattan bar around 2 a.m. Previous to the incident, Malik was reportedly spotted hanging outside the Amsterdam Billiards Club in East Village.
According to what witnessess told the outlet, the former One Direction member was smoking a cigarette outside the establishment when a group of guys came out of a nearby club and an altercation ensued.
In the video, a man seemingly approaches the 28-year-old musician and tries to pick a fight, shouting a homophobic slur at him. Malik is also seen shirtless, though it remains unclear why. Fortunately, it seems that no punches were thrown.
A rep for Malik has not commented on the incident so far.
