Too soon? Sarah Jessica Parker returns to set following Willie Garson's death

Garson, who played Stanford Blatch in the series, passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 57.

Sarah Jessica Parker is going back to work. The 56-year-old actress was spotted on the set of ...And Just Like That on Monday, around a week after the death of her friend and co-star, Willie Garson

Parker filmed scenes for the Sex and the City reboot in the New York City neighbourhood of SoHo, days after posting a heartfelt tribute to Garson, who died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 57 on September 21. The later actor had started reprising his role as Stanford Blatch on the new series over the summer.

Parker didn't initially issue a statement when news of Garson's death broke. However, she did comment on her SATC co-star Chris Noth's post in honor of the actor, writing, "Thank you dearest Chris. I'm not ready yet. Xxx."

The actress eventually shared her own tribute on Friday, posting a gallery of snapshots of herself and Garson over the years to her Instagram account. "It's been unbearable", she captioned her post in part. "Sometimes silence is a statement. Of the gravity. The anguish. The magnitude of the loss of a 30 + year friendship."

Although Garson was mostly known for his role as Carrie Bradshaw's best friend in Sex and the City, he also appeared on several TV projects along the years, including Mozzie on White Collar and Gerard Hirsch on Hawaii Five-0.

In addition, the actor will be appearing posthumously in the upcoming comedy series Duke of the Valley and in And Just Like That… .
