Tom Felton suffered a medical scare. On Thursday, the 34-year-old actor collapsed on the 18th hole while participating in a celebrity golf tournament for the 2021 Ryder Cup at the Whistling Straits Golf Course in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Felton was quickly assisted by tournament staff, helped onto a cart and driven off the golf course. Although he seemed conscious as he was carried away, Felton's current condition remains unclear as his rep hasn't provided an official statement yet.
According to Golf Digest, the Harry Potter alum was playing with former NHL star Teemu Selänne, 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team captain Mike Eruzione and retired speed skater Dan Jansen at the time of his collapse.
The unfortunate event came just a day after Felton celebrated his 34th birthday. He marked the occasion on Wednesday by sharing a black-and-white selfie on his Instagram account. Reflecting on his special day and all he's lived so far, Felton wrote in the caption:
"33 years done - good lord it's been so much fun getting here - yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come - thank you all for your love , support & sense of humour - let's keep a good thing going - to the next 33 xx."
In case you missed it, Felton had an unexpected Harry Potter reunion with one of his co-stars earlier this year, when they ran into each other during a screening of In The Heights in London. Click here to learn more!
