The actress has appeared in nine of the 'AHS' installments.
Sarah Paulson is breaking fan hearts everywhere with her latest announcement. The 46-year-old actress recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed that her time in American Horror Story is coming to an end.
When asked by host Andy Cohen about a possible next collaboration with Ryan Murphy, Paulson —who starred in nine of the 10 seasons of AHS— said that "it’s the first time in about three years" where she doesn't know.
"I think this is my last season of Horror Story, probably", added the Emmy winner, who plays a homeless woman named Tuberculosis Karen in the latest season of AHS. "I mean, I don’t know. Every time [Murphy] comes to me with some whack-a-doodle character, I tend to be like, ‘Yes, let’s do it!’ I don’t know, this is the first time. So we’ll see."
AHS: Double Feature is the tenth installment of the AHS franchise and, as its title announces, it's divided into two parts: Red Tide, which takes place "by the sea" and Death Valley, which takes place "by the sand."
Red Tide premiered in late August and it follows a struggling writer named Harry (Finn Wittrock), his wife Doris (Lily Rabe) and their daughter Alma (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), who move to an isolated beach town in Massachusetts for the winter.
Back in January 2020, FX announced that American Horror Story had been renewed for three more season, meaning that there will be two remaining installments of the franchise after Double Feature ends.
