Lil Loaded rose to fame with his 2019 viral song "6locc 6a6y".
Lil Loaded has passed away at the age of 20.
According to what The Dallas County medical examiner told USA Today, the rapper —whose real name was Dashawn Maurice Robertson— died on Monday.
Robertson's attorney, Ashkan Mehryari, told TMZ in a statement that the artist passed away "as a result of a reported suicide". However, an official cause of death has not been revealed yet.
The rapper rose to fame with his 2019 viral song "6locc 6a6y", which had recently been certified gold by the RIAA. The track also racked up 28 million views and got him a deal with Epic Records.
Last year, Robertson was facing a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of his best friend, Khalil Walker, but was eventually indicted on the lesser count of manslaughter. He was scheduled for a court hearing on Tuesday.
