The film stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, whom Wilde is reportedly dating.
Olivia Wilde is teasing her highly-anticipated new movie, Don't Worry Darling! On Monday, the 37-year-old actress and director took to Instagram to share the first trailer from her upcoming psychological thriller, which is set to be released in 2022.
The film follows a housewife named Alice (played by Florence Pugh), who lives with her husband Jack (Harry Styles) in secluded community in the California desert. Alice's utopic lifestyle gets interrupted when she discovers the gruesome truth behind Jack's glamorous company.
The new terrifying teaser shows, among several things, Pugh and Styles' characters sharing a passionate kiss and creepy-looking man in a white tuxedo laughing maniacally before ending with an anxiety-inducing shot of a woman's face covered in plastic wrap.
In addition to the Oscar nominee and Styles —whom Wilde is reportedly dating after meeting on the films' set—, Don't Worry Darling features Chris Pine, Nick Kroll and the Booksmart director herself in supporting roles.
Wilde previously shared a sneak peek at Don't Worry Darling in March, posting on Instagram an image showing a distressed-looking Pugh framed in the center with her hands up and several men in the background, seemingly approaching her from behind.
"Don't Worry", Wilde captioned the shot at the time, referencing the film's title.
Don't Worry Darling is set to be released only in theaters on September 23, 2022.
