Demi Lovato spent 2020 releasing various singles and hinting an upcoming album, and her manager Scooter Braun confirmed the 28-year-old singer is back on the studio recording what will hopefully become her seventh record.
Lovato's last album, titled Tell Me You Love Me was released in 2017. Since then, the singer decided to slow down and focus on her mental health and addiction issues, after a 2018 overdose and consequent rehab stay.
The former Disney star also returned to acting in 2020, appearing in the Netflix's original film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga alongside Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. In addition, Lovato confirmed her return to television with a guest role in the last season of NBC's sitcom Will & Grace.
Last Saturday, Braun tweeted the words "Demi is in the studio", accompanied by a pair of eyes emoji. The singer then posted the tweet to her Instagram stories in a meme format.
