Hammer exited the project in January amid the controversy surrounding his alleged leaked online messages.
Miles Teller is replacing Armie Hammer in the new Godfather making-of series The Offer.
According to multiple outlets, the 34-year-old actor will star as Al Ruddy, a producer on The Godfather, in the Paramount+ drama which follows Ruddy's experiences making the 1972 film alongside director Francis Ford Coppola.
Teller will also serve as executive producer in the planned 10-episode series.
Hammer was initially cast in the role of Ruddy, but exited the project in January amid the controversy surrounding his alleged leaked online messages and subsequent rape and physical abuse accusations.
Shortly after, the Call Me by Your Name star dropped out of the Jennifer Lopez action-comedy Shotgun Wedding. He later exited the upcoming thriller Billion Dollar Spy, the Watergate series Gaslit starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn and has also been dropped by his talent agency and longtime publicist.
