Luca Guadagnino's 'Call Me By Your Name' won't have a sequel!

The movie director Luca Guadagnino confirmed he is "moving away" from sequel.

Amid all the Armie Hammer controversy, Luca Guadagnino recently confirmed that there will be no sequel for the hit film Call Me By Your Name, starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet!

Luca Guadagnino with actors Michael Stuhlbarg and Timothée Chalamet, that will share the screen once again in the upcoming horror coming-of-age 'Bones & All'.

During a conversation with Deadline, the director revealed the complications that got in the way of filming the sequel: from Timothée being busy making blockbusters like Dune sequels and playing young Willy Wonka, to costar Armie being dropped from several projects amid his sexual scandal.

“The truth of the matter is, my heart is still there, but I’m working on this [Bones & All] movie now, and I’m hopefully going to do Scarface soon, and I have many projects and so will focus on this side of the Atlantic and the movies I want to make," the Italian filmmaker stated.
