John Cena apologized to China after the controversial sayings about Taiwan and Chinese people.
In case you miss it, John declared in an interview with Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS that Taiwan was "the first country that can watch the newest Fast & Furious movie, F9." The 44-year-old actor considered the province as an own country. Later, John apologized to China.
The F9 actor spoke in Mandarin on Weibo, a Chinese social media site, and said:
I made a mistake. Now I have to say one thing which is very, very, very important: I love and respect China and Chinese people. I’m very sorry for my mistakes. Sorry. Sorry. I’m really sorry. You have to understand that I love and respect China and Chinese people.
Despite all John's controversy, there's a big controversy around Taiwan being an own country.
