Gossip Girl is back and badder than ever!

On Friday, HBO released the first trailer for the all-new version of everyone's favorite teen drama, which debuts on July 8.

The upcoming series is described as an "extension of the pop culture classic [that] takes us back to the Upper East Side finding a new generation of New York private school teens being introduced to social surveillance nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark."

"Gossip Girl explores just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years", adds the official description.

Joshua Safran, a writer and executive producer on the original series, will serve as showrunner while Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will take on the role of executive producers.

The Gossip Girl revival stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith. In addition, Kristen Bell will reprise her role as narrator.

The original series was broadcast on The CW network and ran from 2007 through 2012.

The Gossip Girl reboot premieres on July 8 on HBO Max.
