The upcoming series will be a critical reassessment of Dahmer's story and the law enforcement involved.
Evan Peters is embodying serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer for his upcoming project.
In a new snapshot from the set of the Netflix series, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the actor was seen sporting Dahmer's signature clear frames and blonde locks as he made his way across the studio lot.
Peters outfit included a plaid button-up shirt and blue jeans, and he was also spotted wearing a face shield around his neck as a precaution due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
According to Variety, the show will explore Dahmer's story "through the eyes of his victims, and examines Dahmer’s white privilege and the law enforcement involved with a critical lens, depicting at least 10 times that Dahmer was apprehended by police but not prosecuted."
The cast will include Penelope Ann Miller and Richard Jenkins as Dahmer's parents, Joyce and Lionel. Niecy Nash will be taking on the role of Glenda Cleveland, the neighbor who alerted the police of Dahmer's suspicious behavior —though nothing was done at the time.
