Drake Bell is facing criminal charges.
Earlier this week, the Drake & Josh alum was arrested in Ohio and charged with attempted endangering children as well as disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Bell pleaded not guilty and was released on a $2,500 personal bond, several outlets reported.
The former child star, who agreed not to have contact with his alleged victim upon being released, will additionally be required to submit a DNA sample. Bell is also expected to appear in a pre-trial hearing on June 23.
According to local news sources, the charges stem from a 2017 incident in which the 34-year-old actor allegedly engaged in a sexually explicit chat with a minor, the same day the actor was scheduled to perform at a venue in Cleveland.
Bell's arrest comes nearly a year after his ex-girlfriend, Melissa Lingafelt, accused him of physical and verbal abuse in a series of TikTok videos. At the time, the "Hollywood Girl" singer denied the allegations.
