WarnerMedia made the announcement on Wednesday.
Sex and the City fans, rejoice!
WarnerMedia announced on Wednesday that Chris Noth will officially be reprising his role as Mr. Big in the upcoming Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That...
The last time we saw Big, he tied the knot with Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw in the first Sex and the City movie. In the 2010 sequel, Sex and the City 2, the pair overcame any fears of losing their spark. However, the future of their relationship is yet to be seen as Carrie's other love interest, Aidan Shaw —played by John Corbett— is also returning to the franchise.
And Just Like That... will follow Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate their 50s.
In addition to many of the beloved regulars from the original show, the new series will include an array of new characters that are expected to be women of color. Such is the example of Sara Ramírez, who is joining the series as Che Diaz, a queer podcaster.
And Just Like That... is set to film this summer and stream on HBO Max.
