Khloé Kardashian is detailing her experience with COVID-19. On Tuesday, the 37-year-old reality star revealed during a chat with fans for Twitter Space that she suffered hair loss when she catched the virus last year.
"My hair really fell out with COVID", she shared before noting that she contracted the virus in March 2020, approximately. "So after, it was really a struggle for a minute."
The youngest Kardashian sister later revealed that "the only thing that I didn't lose" when she had COVID was her sense of taste and smell. "But I had everything else — like anything else you can imagine", she added.
According to experts, temporary hair loss is one of the possible side effects from coronavirus. Moreover, a recent study from Indiana University found that around 33% they surveyed experienced it.
In addition to Kardashian, rapper Drake revealed in August that he also suffered from hair loss when he contracted the respiratory virus. "I had Covid that s— grew in weird I had to star again", he wrote in response to a fan's Instagram post poking fun at his hairline. "it's coming back don't diss."
During the Twitter Space chat, the Good American founder also reflected on the experience of shooting Keeping Up with the Kardashians last year around the beginning of the conavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown in March 2020.
"It gave us something to do, and even though it was such a scary time, having that distraction was nice", she said. "But yeah, all of us –– now it's kind of our new normal –– but then we were all so nervous, and so scared. No one knew what was happening."
