The actress confirmed her and Rodgers' engagement in February.
Shailene Woodley thinks her whirlwind romance with Aaron Rodgers was written in the stars.
The actress spoke candidly about her relationship with the Green Bay Packers quarterback in the cover story for Shape's June/August issue, explaining to the magazine how the pandemic affected the couple.
"Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone -- because it's a pandemic and you can't just get on a plane and go back and forth on weekends -- taught us a lot about each other very quickly", she said.
"We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early", she added.
Still, Woodley believes that her romance with Rodgers would have happened anyway, pandemic or not:
"I have the perspective that I would have met Aaron in any context, any space in time, because I feel we were meant to be together."
The Big Little Lies alum confirmed her engagement to the NFL star back in February during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
"Yes, we are engaged", Woodley told host Jimmy Fallon. "But for us, it's not new news, you know? So it's kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.'"
