The comedian joked that Krasinski and Blunt's marriage is for publicity in an Instagram post.
John Krasinski is responding to Amy Schumer's joke that his marriage to Emily Blunt is a publicity stunt.
On Sunday, the comedian shared on Instagram a now-deleted informal review of A Quiet Place Part II, the new sequel to the highly successful 2018 film, and shared humorous personal thoughts on the director's marriage.
"I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away. Amazing to be in a movie theater!!", Schumer said of the film, written and directed by Krasinski and starring Blunt. "And although I've said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend."
The 41-year-old actor replied in the comments, joking, "Thank you Amy!... for blowing up our whole marriage spot."
Fake marriage or not, Blunt and Krasinski are a golden pair with their film breaking the record for pandemic releases, grossing $58.5 million in the United States and a total of $79.2 million worldwide in its opening weekend.
