The actress discussed perfoming the beloved song alongside Lady Gaga on 'Friends: The Reunion'.
Lisa Kudrow needed a little help remembering one of her most iconic skits on Friends.
On Friday, the actress made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she opened up about her experience performing a duet of "Smelly Cat" with Lady Gaga on the recent Friends reunion special.
"Oh, that was great", she said of the surprise duet. "I was really nervous when I first heard that and then I prepared. I realized that I had to learn 'Smelly Cat' again."
"I tuned my guitar and then realized I don't know the chords. But I Googled it. All the chords were there. So, thank you world for posting the chords", Kudrow added.
The star also revealed that she was nervous about the performance, but thankfully it all worked out and it ended up being one of the many highlights from the reunion.
"I learned [the song] and then my throat closed. I was so panicked that I couldn't get anything out. I didn't know what was going to happen, but it worked out", she said.
The HBO Max special —which also featured co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Swchimmer— included behind-the-scenes tidbits as the core cast reminisced about their time on the beloved sitcom.
