The 22-year-old rapper responded to several homophobic tweets directed at him after launching his new music video for 'Industry Baby'.
Lil Nas X is up for raising his voice when needed! Last week, the 22-year-old rapper released his new single "Industry Baby", featuring Jack Harlow, and the song's HOT music video.
In the clip, the rapper is sentenced to prison in Montero State Prison after losing a lawsuit against Nike over his controversial "Satan Shoes". There, the singer and his back-up dancers strip down for a sexy dance until he escapes with the help of his collaborator, Jack.
However, with the video came the controversy as several Twitter users started calling the rapper for "marketing the sexual irresposibility that's causing young men to die from AIDS" just because Lil Nas X showed gay men having sex and dancing sexy in his music video... That's when the rapper answered, accusing those of being homophobic comments, not critics.
"Y’all be silent as hell when n*ggas dedicate their entire music catalogue to rapping about sleeping with multiple women," he wrote, "But when i do anything remotely sexual i’m “being sexually irresponsible” & “causing more men to die from aids” y’all hate gay ppl and don’t hide it."
After that, People magaizine wrote an article where it called the homophobic comments "critics," and Lil took to Twitter again to respond. "y’all know exactly what you’re doing with this caption :/," he wrote.
