The actress previously revealed she hadn't seen her daughter since before the pandemic.
Kate Beckinsale is one happy mother now that she and her daughter are back together after not seeing each other for a really long time!
On Friday, the 47-year-old actress was spotted at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, where she reunited with her 22-year-old daughter Lily for the first time in two years.
The family reunion came a few hours after Beckinsale revealed during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan that she hadn't seen her daughter, whom she shares with ex Michael Sheen, since before the start of the pandemic.
"I haven't seen my daughter for two years because of everything. Also, I went to Canada working and she couldn't come see me", she explained to hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. "Two years of not seeing your child is the most preposterous thought."
During the interview, the Underworld star also admitted that she and Lily were worried their wouldn't recognized one another after spending so much time apart. "Thank goodness for FaceTime and all that, but we're both panicking that we'll look really old to each other", she joked.
"My daughter's 22 and looks 8. So she's like, 'I'm just worried that you're going to think I look old", Beckinsale continued. "I'm like, 'I'm going to look old!"
Fortunately, the mom of one now gets to enjoy some major quality time with Lily and we couldn't be happier for her!
