Just a few months after cutting ties with his wife and sisters on Twitter, the rapper stops following the mother of his children on the platform
Kanye West doesn't want to keep up with the Kardashians anymore. Just months after cutting his still wife Kim Kardashian and his sisters on Twitter, the rapper has just broken ties on Instagram with the mother of his four children and now Kim is no longer among the 12 accounts that the singer-songwriter follows on the platform.
By the way, the Instagram account also reflects the announced change of name of West, who a couple of weeks ago revealed that he now wanted to be called Ye, simply. As we recall, it was in June that the 44-year-old singer-songwriter "unfollowed" the Kardashians on Twitter.
Months earlier - in January, to be precise - 40-year-old Kim Kardashian had shocked by announcing that she was separating from her husband. A month later the reality TV diva took the case to court.
Interestingly, Kanye has taken to appearing in public with his face covered, as we see in this post at a recent fashion show in Paris: And Kim appeared this Sunday with a mysterious look that also covered her face.
The new media drama takes place just days after West released Donda, his new album, whose name is dedicated to the memory of his mother, who died in 2007.
It should be noted that despite their marital separation, Kim has supported West in his new projects by going with their children to Donda's live performances - prior to its launch - and even participating in one of them wearing a wedding dress and accompanying her still husband on stage.
