The film is directed by 'The Office' actor and starred his wife Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy.
John Krasinski's A Quiet Place II is now available in theaters, and the 41-year-old actor and director have been promoting the film for several weeks.
Starred John's wife Emily Blunt, actor Cillian Murphy, and child actors Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, the film is the sequel to the first part. Believe it or not, John revealed that he almost quit the idea of making the sequel! Check out here why he changed his mind!
“I had no intention of doing a second one,” The Office actor said to Yahoo Entertainment. “I thought the first one was as personal a story as I could ever tell, and because of that, I had no idea who I would even approach a second one.”
Then, John explained that Emily changed his mind because, for her, the main reason to make a sequel was to tell Millicent Simmonds' story. “She’s the continuation of my story. Emily feels this one is even more personal to me than the first, which is insane.”
“When John and I first started talking about it, that was always the aim. This really should become the kids’ story, in particular Millicent‘s story. She’s not only such a powerhouse of an actress, she can carry [a movie]. She’s so arresting to watch, and we’d be continuing the idea of somebody with a disability who becomes this weapon for the world,” Emily added.
