The premiere of 'Midnight in the Switchgrass' took place on Monday (July 19).
On Monday (July 19), the premiere of Midnight in the Switchgrass took place in Regal Cinema in LA. All the stars of the film attended except Megan Fox. According to Fox's rep, she decided not to attend due to "the rise of COVID cases in LA." See what director Emmet Randall's girlfriend Lala Kent said about it here!
The Vanderpump Rules star dedicated sweet messages on Instagram Story to her fiancé on the premiere day, including a photo with him that said, "To my soulmate. My life partner. My baby daddy. Congratulations. I am so proud of you. You did it, boo."
Kent and Randall are engaged and they welcomed their first daughter, Ocean, earlier this year.
Kent also subtly dedicated a message to Fox for not attending the premiere, according to Page Six. Randall's fiancé posted a photo of herself in front of a movie poster blocking out Fox. "So excited for this!" she captioned the image.
Recently, Randall talked about the "magnetic" chemistry Fox and boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly shared on and off the screen. If you didn't know, the couple first met on the film set back in March 2020.
The film follows "FBI agent Rebecca Lombardi (Fox), who crosses paths with a brutal serial killer while investigating a sex-trafficking ring with her partner Karl Helter (Bruce Willis)." The film cast includes Emile Hirsch, Lukas Haas, Caitlin Carmichael, among others. If you miss the trailer, watch it here!
