Britney Spears is sharing her thoughts on Disney's Cruella. On Monday night, the 39-year-old singer took to social media to write an enthusiastic review of the film, which premiered earlier this year and stars Emma Stone.
"I watched Cruella last night … ok so I watch it at least 3 to 4 times a week … I like it ok ��������♀️???", Britney wrote on her Instagram account alongside a drawing of a dress and tulips. "Emma Stone is f——g adorable and I feel like I’m 6 years old again watching it �� !!!! The imagery and the way the story leads your imagination is so freakin cool !!!! I posted this tulip dress cause I’m inspired by fashion at the moment �� !!!!"
The film dropped was released in the United States theatrically and made simultaneously available on Disney+ with its Premier Access feature on May 28. Grossing $224 million worldwide, Cruella became the seventh highest-grossing film of 2021.
Set in London during the punk rock movement of the 1970s, the film revolves around Estella Miller (Stone), an aspiring fashion designer, as she explores the path that will lead her to become a notorious up-and-coming fashion designer known as Cruella de Vil.
In addition to Stone, Cruella stars Emma Thompson as Baroness von Hellman, the film's main antagonist. Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mark Strong also appear in supporting roles.
