5 biggest revelations from 'Friends: The Reunion'!

After many months, the high-expected reunion is now available on the HBO Max streaming service.

Our favorite group of friends is back! The original cast of the series, Jennifer AnistonCourteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer was reunited on Stage 24. Here're the top 5 revelations that the special reunion left to us!

1. Ross Geller & Rachel Green could have been real!

Actors Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, who portrayed the iconic couple, revealed that they had a crush on each other. David explained they weren't on a break but, “It was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary."

2. What would have happened to all the characters?

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe, said that her character "was probably the advocate for her kids…and all of the other kids who were a little different, creating the arts program."

Jennifer said that maybe Ross and Rachel would have married and Ross would still be playing with bones!

Courteney Cox said that Monica would be “in charge of the bake sale in elementary school. She’s just got to keep things going, PTA." She said to Matthew Perry, "and you are still making me laugh every day.” Matthew replied to her, "Just wanted to make sure I factored in somewhere."

Matt LeBlanc said about Joey, “I think he probably opened a sandwich shop on Venice Beach."

3. Matthew Perry wasn't comfortable with fame

When Matthew was asked about his character, Chandler, he said he “felt like I was going to die if the audience didn’t laugh” at his jokes. “It’s not healthy, for sure, but I would sometimes say a line and they wouldn’t laugh and I would sweat and just go into convulsions. … I would freak out.”

4. Courteney Cox made the impossible to get the role of Monica}

The character of Monica was not designed for Courteney, although we can't imagine a better person for the role.
“We met with Courteney Cox and she explained to us why she didn’t think she was a Rachel and that she, herself, was more of a Monica — and she was right,” said co-creators Marta Kauffman. “Courteney brought this incredible joy to the character.”

“Everything Courteney brought to it made Monica so much richer than what we had originally intended,” David Crane added.

5. Are they still seeing each other?

Lisa explained that they're still very good friends, but they don't hang out all the time.

“We stay in touch for sure, maybe not every day but you know, we have such a bond from having done this show and forged this very tight relationship that any time you text or call someone, they’re gonna pick up. They’ll be there.”

However, Matthew joked that he never picks up the phone! “I don’t hear from anyone," he joked.
